UPCOMING FUND RAISING EVENTS...
Hello Vest-A-Dog Volunteers!

My name is Laurie Hoesly - Volunteer Coordinator for Wisconsin V.A.D.

I wanted to thank you for your interest in the Wisconsin Vest-A-Dog organization and let
you know about the opportunities that are currently available.

This Summer and Fall are packed with all sorts of events and we need a lot of help to
cover them all!  This is so exciting, we are moving forward everyday with Vesting every
K9 Officer in Wisconsin.  WOO HOO!

This is the current list of events on the calendar - please contact me with the dates and
times you would like to help out.

  • No special events listed at this time - check back for updates.
We will also be at the Farmers Markets in Beloit and Janesville.  The dates have not
been set yet.  We need Volunteers to staff the booth and collect donations.  We are
limited to TWO days a year (so, in total we can set up a booth 2 times in Beloit and 2
times in Janesville ) and we can choose the dates. Minimum we would need two
volunteers per booth, per day.  Let me know which dates would work for you and I'll get
the paperwork submitted.

With all of the events - help is needed for

1. set-up/tear down - we have tables, large photo boards, brochures and a canapy (if
outdoors)

2.  staffing the Booth - greeting people, answering questions and telling people about
the Wisconsin Vest-A-Dog Organization

For the October 21st Elvis event - we will be seeking donated items for the Auction and
will need help seeking items and setting up the Auction tables/displays.

We need someone who is internet saavy to post event information on various sites -
radio stations, online newspapers and event calendars, etc.

If you have your own idea about a Fundraiser - please share it with us and we'll help as
much as possible to make it a success.

Please contact me about signing up for any of the above events, or other ideas you
may have.  Again, thank you so much for your help. With each event we are making
progress in saving the lives of K9 Officers by providing Stab/Bullet Proof Vests.
